WHO WE ARE IGT is a group of full loving teenagers from schools all over the Sweetwater Union High School Distict. Make no mistake while we train together and cheer each other on we represent our individual schools. Mr. Mazer is our school district approved coordinator. He gives us a hard time sometimes but it's just because he cares and Coach Mary (don't let her smiles and giggles fool you) she's tough but only because she wants us to the be the best. During the meet season JV and Varsity meet at the YMCA in Eastlake a few times a week.. Sometimes we'll meet at other gyms to practice our routines. We welcome all levels to train with us. Competition season is in the spring but pre-season classes are highly recommended. Levels include JV Compulsory, Varsity Compulsory, and Varsity Optional. Compulsory levels perform the same routine but Optional levels have more flexibility in their routines and perform more difficult skills. We train on four apparatuses: floor, bars, vault and beam You think you got what it takes to bring it--whether you are a beginner curious about the sport or an elite gymnast looking to earn your high school letter, we welcome you to join us.
